WHY BLOU?

Blou means rye in Aosta Valley local language.

 

STYLE

Rye Beer – Roggen (rye in German). This rye beer is similar to a weizenbier (German for wheat beer) or a weissbier (German for white beer) but replacing wheat malt with rye malt.

 

INGREDIENTS

  • Malts: pale Italian malt and caramel malt from Germany.
  • Additional cereals: rye malt, wheat malt.
  • Hops: Perle hops from Tettnang, Germany.
  • Yeast: top-fermenting (saccharomyces cerevisiae).
